Fried chicken

Fried chicken with mash potatoes and sweetcorn

I first soaked the chicken in butter milk and the potatoes in some water. I only soaked them for one hour as I was short on time. Once soaked I rinsed the potatoes and patted dry the chicken. I then boiled the potatoes until tender and mashed with butter, milk, salt and pepper. Meanwhile, the chicken was dipped in some flour, back into the milk, and into flour again.  The oil was heated before hand so it sizzled when the chicken entered. Fried until golden brown like below :D
